Arsenal Mailing List
Article by Chris Parry Tuesday, 21st May 2002
The Arsenal Internet Mailing List was founded back in 1993, when a person by the name of Tristan Rudgard (who was obviously at the cutting edge of the then-developing Internet technology) decided that Arsenal supporters worldwide should correspond regularly by E-Mail.

This service was (and of course still is) extremely beneficial to those fans who live in all parts of the globe, and therefore feel detached from what is actually happening at the club. It is currently administered by
Mick Winnett , who has his own website giving much more detailed information.

The list is has grown to such an extent that it is now a thriving forum for discussion about all things Arsenal, a provider of match reports to those not fortunate enough to be able to attend the games, and just about the best place to catch up on all of the news and gossip.

The list now has around 1200 members, and is thriving. The participants even have their own football team, the "Cybury Gooners", who play regular games (of what could loosely be described as football, being roughly based upon the game we know and love) against other clubs' internet teams.

To join the list - Visit the subscription page here.

We look forward to seeing you!
