Are you in the North Bank Lower this Saturday?

Last updated : 16 November 2004 By Ben Dimech

The season's still upon us and perspective can so easily be lost but Arsenal Football Club have always tried to mark special occasions with class and in that spirit, REDaction have come up with an initiative for this Saturday's game against West Brom to let the players know how proud we are of their amazing run!

Fans in the North Bank Lower will display a 10,000-card banner that will read "49 UNBEATEN" in a glorious sea of red and white. We, as fans, haven't properly acknowledged the team's achievement and this is something we feel is appropriate to let them know how proud we are at the moment and reassure them that possibly Arsene Wenger's most significant achievement to date will not go unnoticed!

If you're in the North Bank Lower on Saturday, you will have a red card by your seat with instructions on the back explaining what it's for and when to hold it up (when the captains enter the centre circle just before kick off). Please participate in "Raise The 49" - this vibrant display of red and white, which will be seen by millions of watching fans and, more importantly, our team and manager.

Hit the links below for .pdf documents of the display and the note which will go on the back of each card.
