Arsenal close in on international striker

Arsenal look set to pick up a new striker, who is both young and of an international standard according to reports

Wenger has long been reported to be looking at both a midfielder and a striker with Giroud turning 30 this year and injury concerns with other players.

Wenger has looked to a league he once managed in and is looking at a player they call 'The Jaguar' in the J1 League

The 21-year-old has already been approached say's the report after picking up 2 J1 League titles as well as three Japanese Super Cups in a relatively short career.

The player is very highly regarded in Japan and would certainly bring new fans from Japan interested in the career of their idol whose speed has led to his feline nickname 'The Jaguar'

The player was named Rookie of the Year in 2015 and has scored 20 goals in all competitions and has made 50 league appearances.

The player has broken into the senior international team and scored in their 7-2 schooling of Bulgaria and also also expected to feature for Japan in the Rio Olympics.
