Higuain will have crunch talks this week with new boss Carlo Ancelotti, whom maybe the deciding factor in Higuain?s future.

The 25-year-old felt as though he was undervalued under Mourinho, resulting in a lack of confidence and a worrying lack of game time.

However, with a new manager and a new perspective, Higuian has hinted that he?d be willing to stay on and fight for a starting position.

According to the Daily Mail, a ?23 million fee had been agreed between the two clubs, however, Madrid president Florentino Perez was quick to dismiss any such agreement.

Perez said: ?We don?t want him to go.

Furthermore, no one from Arsenal has been here to make any type of offer.?

The addition of a big name is looking less and less likely for The Gunners, Arsene Wenger has alternatives, but are they attainable?

Luis Suarez has appeared as a big target, with Wenger remaining tight-lipped over the speculation.

Wayne Rooney also appears to be an option for The Gunners, but the chances of Manchester United selling to Arsenal are very slim.

It appears Wenger's only option is to 'splash the cash' in order to secure a big name move. But this is something he's not renowned for.
