He is a player that has already attracted interest from London in the form of West Ham United who were unsuccessful in luring the player across the channel

Alexandre Lacazette appears to be reaching his peak and is considered one of France's best attacking players having played for the national side at all levels.

Arsene Wenger it seems is looking to strengthen his attack with reports in The Sun claiming the Frenchman is looking to lure the player to North London in a not so 'secret' meeting this week

The 25-year-old has played for Lyon since joining their youth squad in 2003 and has gone on to make over 200 appearances in all competitions

A move away from Ligue 1 would be for the first time and many consider the League to be uncompetitive with PSG the only strong side in the division.

Lacazette signed a two-year extension with Lyon which takes the player to 2018 and the Mirror claim the player is valued in the region of £45million due to his 72 goals in 172 games since 2010

The Hammers bosses claim that the reason their attempt failed is because PSG themselves are interested and the player will be signing for them which means Arsenal would need to move quickly to secure agreement on personal terms

The Sun also claim that Champions League runners-up Atletico are also waiting in the wings.
