Arsenal v Sevilla - Bring your scarves!

Last updated : 17 September 2007 By Ben Frost
We host Sevilla this Wednesday and, being a European night, we want to see as many scarves as possible in the stadium. So if you were one of the lucky ones to get a scarf at the Sparta Prague game, please bring it back for Sevilla on Wednesday. If you didn't get hold of one at the Sparta game, dig one out of the cupboard or get down to the shops or stalls around the ground to buy a nice new one. It really looks fantastic when whole sections are waving scarves - http://tinyurl.com/3afg5d - REDaction want to make scarves a regular feature for all night games so as well as Sevilla this week, we also have Newcastle next week.

In between those two games, we host Derby on Saturday. We'll have more details later in the week about what we have going on at The Rocket, both before and after the game. After the Derby game, REDaction will be hosting a meet-and-greet inside the stadium in the bar area close to Block 7. We'll stick around for a couple of drinks and hopefully get a good few songs going in the bar. We also want to hear your feedback about life in the REDsection and about how you think we can improve the atmosphere in the stadium.

After a couple of beers at the Block 7 bar, we'll gradually drift round to the club's own "Extra Time" initiative by Block 31. This has been running at all three weekend home games so far this season and features a live band, football on the telly and the bar is still open. Those that have been before report that it is quite a good laugh so we'll head round there and check it out.

So, that's all for now. Dig those scarves out and bring them along on Wednesday!
