Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote is still recovering from taking a pitch off the helmet from San Francisco Giants lefty star Madison Bumgarner. It was a scary sight, no doubt. He's an important role player and, thankfully, he has been cleared to return to baseball activities on Tuesday. There's a chance that he will be ready to play in Wednesday's Cactus League matchup with the Texas Rangers. David Bote (hit in helmet) can get back to baseball activities tomorrow.
