Early opening, two snooze fests and a Michael Thomas raffle @ The Rocket!

Last updated : 04 October 2007 By Ben Dimech

Apart from the usual stuff like The March, the beer garden, pool tables, beer promotions, the big footy screen and CDs for sale, we'll also be selling tickets for our latest raffle in aid of the Willow Foundation for this signed photo of Michael Thomas clinching the title at Anfield. The winner will be drawn before the Bolton game on October 20th. If you want to be in with a chance of taking it home, come to The Rocket and buy some raffle tickets. It's all for a very good cause!

Why are we kicking off at midday against a team whose fans have to travel 280 miles at silly o'clock? Why are there only two games on Saturday yet eight on a Sunday? Why is Liverpool vs. Spurs not televised but Reading vs. Derby and Fulham vs. Portsmouth are? Complain to your MP is what I say! We're showing the Reading vs. Derby game at 2pm while keeping a beady eye on the scores coming in. While that match won't be of much importance, we'll add a bit of spice by having another open mic session at half time. We really want to promote positive songs in support of The Arsenal so if you have heard a new player song and you think it deserves recognition, come along and get it sung!

We'll also show another misnomer of a game in the shape of Fulham vs. Portsmouth but this will be taken over by Sky Sports News if you lot demand it! So which is it? Sanchez or Stelling? Eh? EH?!?!

Victory Through Harmony.
