Henry: 'You can't just leave and go home'

The travelling Gooners were locked in for over an hour while the Spurs thugs roamed the streets looking to vent their frustrations on any Arsenal fan that migt have been around, so the team re-emerged from the dressing room to entertain them.

The team got hold of a plastic Premiership trophy from the crowd and paraded it. Ashley Cole placed it on the centre spot and proceeded to do a lap of honour in the nearly-empty stadium - top Gooner!

Henry went on to say:

"Although it was quite important for us to win the title here, it was more for the fans. Even though we didn't win the game, I still think people will remember that we won the title at White Hart Lane.

"That was really important for the supporters. Not so much for us, as we could have done it against Birmingham City next weekend or whatever, but to do it here for the fans was special.

"I said before the game that even if we had won the title at, for instance, Charlton, we would have celebrated on the pitch.

"You don't win the title every day. It happened that it was at Tottenham and that's more special but we would have done it everywhere.
