Jekyll and Hyde of Premier League strikers

Okay, maybe the sub title is a little harsh but Bendtner has gone from naive, Balotelli wannabe, acting like he was the best player at Arsenal. He has seemed to mature over the several failed loans to Hull, Sunderland and Juventus. Asking to leave in the summer hasn?t helped get the fans on his side. After being booed in the game versus Manchester United, a lot of hatred was placed his way due to his substituted appearance and doing next to nothing. Football has a short term memory and when the 2 minute mark struck on the clock, Bendtner scored a header from a superb cross from Jenkinson and all seems forgotten. Is this Bendtner starting to reprieve himself slightly, we shall see. Bendtner was clapped off and cheered as he was taken off after showing commitment which is a start.

Luis Suarez?s love affair with Norwich continues.

Suarez has scored 11 goals against Norwich, in 4 Premier League games. Which includes a hat trick and the four goals against them tonight, every goal was something special. First was 40 yard volley to chip the keeper. His second from a corner flicked in from close range after finding space. The one to complete the hat trick and was the pinnacle with only 34 minutes on the clock, flicked the ball over Fer then volleyed into the net with great precision. The final punishing strike for Norwich was what is becoming his speciality; a free kick, into top left corner. He?s not everybody?s favourite player but he?s certainly knows how to score, especially against Norwich.

Other misfires

After the Hazard show for Chelsea, Torres once again had a quiet night and had a clear opportunity to score and scuffed it sky high. Rooney also had a chance to show Van Persie wasn?t being missed but rushed the volley and hit it into the Stretford end.
