Limited Edition 'Gunflash' on sale Saturday

Last updated : 03 March 2005 By Steve Kell
Gunflash has been going since 1949 making this its 56th year with an average now of 8 editions per season.

The AFC matchday programme will have a full page feature about Gunflash on the Club Culture page as well as the possibility of running their 10 page regular feature "Diary of a season" from 1949/50 (the same year Gunflash first came out).

London Tonight TV are "doing a big feature" on Gunflash this Friday which will probably go on your telly's Friday night with interviews from AFC and probably some of the Gunflash contributors and Committee as well as seeing it come off the press etc.

If you read newspapers, then you may have already seen a feature about the Gunflash in the Daily Telegraph, but keep an eye out in most of the national and London newspapers from Friday across the whole weekend because most are running with a story on The Gunflash probably being the Worlds oldest football fanzine. (We have done our research and we think we are the oldest by some considerable time as well).

So with a totally unashamed plug for the 64 paged extra sized Bumper Limited Edition of the worlds oldest football fanzine The Gunflash for the usual price of £2.00 which is reprinting some of the very first edition as well as articles from all of the previous editors as well as match reports and pictures upto and including Sheffield United away then please purchase a copy from either outside Highbury, inside the Supporters Club, or from inside some of the stadium.

This edition will be a genuine collectors item and we do not intend doing a reprint on this issue, we have doubled the amount of copies but it will still be a first come first served basis., if you do not see anyone selling it where you are then go and find somewhere that does including the garden stall and some of the street sellers

If you require a copy posted to you then please look below, the cost of the
postage will increase for this single edition from the charges listed because of the extra weight of this issue.

Copies of this and any other edition can be obtained by visiting Arsenal Football Supporters' Club. or from the sellers on the street on matchdays, alternatively, you can apply by writing to:
