Arsenal face a tricky trip to the King Power Stadium this Saturday as they take on Leicester City in the Premier League.
The Gunners are in dire straits and desperately need a reaction this weekend. Unai Emery knows a defeat would not only leave his job in jeopardy, but would see Leicester move nine points clear of the Gunners after only 12 games.
With a victory essential, let's take a look at how Arsenal should lineup this Saturday.
Goalkeepers & Defenders
Bernd Leno (GK) - While Arsenal's defence has received a large amount of stick in recent times, Leno has steered clear of such criticism with consistent performances. The German made seven saves in their last league outing against Wolves, and helped earn Arsenal the draw.
Calum Chambers (RB) - There have been plenty of queries about where Chambers' best position is on the pitch. However, it seems he has staked a strong claim to be Arsenal's starting right-back, offering the Gunners greater defensive stability down the right-hand side.
Sokratis Papastathopoulos (CB) - So far this season, the Greek centre-half has started every Premier League, and is a clear favourite of Unai Emery's. There are still questions to be asked of his defensive qualities, but with little else to replace him, it seems he's the best Arsenal have.
David Luiz (CB) - Luiz has had a bit of a rollercoaster ride since joining Arsenal back in the summer. But his pace and power will be necessary for the Gunners, and he will be needed to match the strengths of the in-form Jamie Vardy this weekend.
Kieran Tierney (LB) - Perhaps the 22-year-old Scotsman can be the start of a revolution in the Arsenal back line. The left-back has struggled with injuries since moving to north London, but is starting to show his qualities, marauding up and down the left flank.
Midfielders
Lucas Torreira (DM) - The Uruguayan has only started three Premier League games this season, but his ability to tidy up in midfield will be essential for the visitors on Saturday. The midfielder helps offer Arsenal grit in the centre of the park and has been wrongly overlooked for the most part this term.
Matteo Guendouzi (CM) - Maybe the only shining light in an otherwise dim season for Arsenal, Guendouzi has certainly been living up to his potential so far. It's crazy to think the Frenchman is only 20 as he already looks the most assured player in Unai Emery's side, perhaps reflected in the fact he has started every league game for the Gunners.
Joe Willock (CM) - Willock has been one of many Arsenal success stories in the youth department this campaign, and with Dani Ceballos a doubt and Granit Xhaka exiled, the 20-year-old should get the nod in midfield this weekend. The Englishman offers greater defensive cover than Mesut Ozil, and will need to be on top of his game against Leicester.
Forwards
Nicolas Pepe (RW) - £72m is a pretty big weight to be carrying around and it hasn't been an easy adjustment to life in England for Pepe. The Ivorian is beginning to show glimpses of the stellar form he exhibited in Ligue 1 last year, and will only get better as he gets more time in the Arsenal lineup.
Alexandre Lacazette (ST) - Lacazette is a fan favourite at Arsenal for a reason - he works so hard. Not only is he blessed with ability, his work ethic is second to none, and against a fit and focused Leicester City this Saturday, that application and effort will be crucial. Injuries have stifled his start to 2019/20, but as his fitness returns, Lacazette will be a focal point for the London side in weeks to come.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (LW) - You would be stark raving mad not to start Aubameyang this season. The newly-named club captain has an even bigger part to play this season than before, as his goals will need to be matched by leadership. The Gabon international was equal top scorer in the league last season and already has eight this year. He will be the main threat that Leicester will have to be wary of this Saturday.
