Pictures of new commemorative kit for next season

For a lot of fans, this will merely serve to remind them that once next season gets underway they will have no more than thirty visits to what we consider to be the home of football.

As Arsene Wenger says on arsenal.com: "It will be very emotional when we move from Highbury to Emirates Stadium and it is great that the Club is finding ways to celebrate our last season at this fantastic stadium. Personally, I love the fact the team will be wearing a home kit that is inspired by the first one ever worn at Highbury. It's not only a way of encapsulating more than 90 years of memories, it also takes us right back to when we started at this ground in 1913."

As ever, the picture released today is merely a teaser - We don't get to see how long the shorts are (!) and currently we get no front view of the shirt which would reveal which crest is being used or whether the appearance is being blighted by a sponsors logo (you can bet it will). No doubt the club will reveal the kit in all it's glory in the fullness of time.
