REDaction - Turn Highbury Red and White on February 1st.

Last updated : 25 January 2005 By Mike Bohndiek
We have 35,000 Red and White cards to be distributed onto every Arsenal Fans seat for this game, to help turn Highbury Red and White at Kick Off time.

This will require a lot of manpower, so if you are available to come to Highbury from 10am onwards on the day of the game to help put cards on seats, please send your name and contact details to redaction@btinternet.com and we will be in touch.

Due to Stadium regulations volunteers must be aged 16 years and over.

The plan is for Arsenal Fans to hold these cards aloft as the teams take the field, during the coin toss, and hopefully after an Arsenal Goal.

We hope that everyone will read the instructions on the card this time, telling them when to raise the cards, as the 'UNBEATEN 49' display for the West Brom game was scuppered by a lot of people in the North Bank Lower blatantly not reading the instructions as to when to raise them, leading to what Mickey Cannon @ The Gooner fanzine called ' The slowest domino effect ever!'

As usual we are not able to offer any Match tickets for people coming to help, however, everyone that comes & helps put out the cards will be entered into a prize draw & the winner gets a one year subscription to The Gooner fanzine. So thanks to all at Gooner towers.

Thanks for your support.
