REDaction call on Arsenal fans to unite

Last updated : 05 October 2007 By Mark Brindle

We have been astonished by some of the comments from Red and White Holdings.

The fact that Red & White Holdings are apparently unhappy with the performance of the current board and even more worryingly that they would like to pay dividends on the shares have solidified our position against any takeover of the club by them.

This Board of Directors have delivered the premier stadium in Europe and most importantly have re-signed Mr Wenger to continue our playing development over the next few years.

Any dividend payments will only come from profit which in our opinion should be used for reinvestment into the club as Mr Wenger sees fit. We also feel that any dividend payments will largely be linked to above inflation increases in ticket prices.

REDaction are generally one of the more vocal elements of support at the Emirates Stadium and we will be making our opinions perfectly clear starting on Sunday at the Sunderland match, and we ask all our fellow Gooners to stand with us in whatever way they see fit over the coming weeks and months.
