He said of Reyes:
"He has not been at the European Championships, so he had a great preparation and he looked from the first day in pre-season that he has grown up and is much more confident," reflected the Arsenal manager.
"You could see today that every time he takes the ball he is stronger now. In the first three or four months he looked a bit lean and weak in the challenges, but now he looks strong and brave."
