He revealed that Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott may well return to the squad for the Spurs game on Sunday - expect them to start on the bench if that's the case though.

There's no confirmed news on Monreal, Gibbs or Cazorla, all of whom are possible absentees.

Granit Xhaka has done his time and is able to return after suspension.

Wenger says:

“We still have some uncertainties. Bellerin has a test but he could have played in Bulgaria. He should be alright. Closest to a comeback is Walcott, but we will have a few more tests today.”

"It is an interesting clash because for us it is a very important game because we are in a strong position in the league that we want to strengthen. It is very tight at the top of the league. We are more focused that it is a home game, to win the game - whether it is Tottenham or somebody else.

"We want to win our home games because our position in the league is very important and we go into a period where we play big games and we want to win the big games."

We've not lost in fifteen games since the start of the season, and many would expect us to win on Sunday, but as we all know North London derbies rarely follow the form book - there is the possibility of an upset, but I'm quietly confident.
