We really do seem to have an embarrassment of riches in the midfield this season - our first choice for Tuesday's Champions League opener was Wiltord, Vieira, Gilberto and Ljungberg, but we also have Pires and Van Bronckhorst due to return, Edu, and of course the amazing Kolo Toure to call on as well.
Shame we don't have such strength in depth at the back.
