Wenger accuses Real Madrid of lacking class

Wenger responded yesterday by saying:

"If I want a player from Real Madrid, I would call Real Madrid first, I wouldn't come out in the newspapers first. It's unfair to his own players firstly and, secondly, it's unfair towards Arsenal. You'd expect a bit more class.

Taunting the Spaniards, he went on to say:

"I don't want to say any more about Real Madrid though as I could come out with more stories that would not be nice for them."

"When we don't want to sell a player, we don't want to discuss a price. We don't want to sell our best players. Why should we do that? I can't understand it."

Henry himself has repeatedly stated that he is happy at Highbury, and that he doesn't want to leave. He has made his feelings crystal clear, nevertheless the morons from Madrid continue to talk through the press.

No doubt they will escalate their attempts to distract Henry as the summer approaches.
