"We gave everything for 90 minutes and restricted them to nothing.

"There was a great desire and I could not fault the spirit, but we did lack some creativity in the final ball and some sharpness because we had played a difficult game on Wednesday night at Everton."

"Fans want to win the game and when you do not win, they are not happy, we understand that."

"I look at today as two missed points. We have our ambition; we want to win all our games. We do not look at the results of Aston Villa. We gave everything and defended well as a team but we faced a team that also defended well.

"We were restricted. We tried until the end and went close a few times, but it didn't come off. It is a derby and you see they have good confidence at the moment and are on a good run.

"We tried very well, but just lacked a little creativity and sharpness."
