...We have new players available, but will they play?
Mustafi and Perez both arrived at the club in a blaze of publicity last week, and you would think that both will start against The Saints, but that might not be the case.
It's almost a certainty that Mustafi and Koscielny will start as centre backs. We're thinner in that area than any other. Holding will no doubt be relegated to the bench, while Bellerin and Monreal fill the full back slots.
Midfield is trickier.
Cazorla and Xhaka seem like the obvious choices for central midfield, with possibly The Ox and Walcott operating out wide. But where does this leave Ramsey, Coquelin and Elneny? - none of whom are ideally suited to playing wide.
We then have any two out of Ozil, Sanchez, Perez and Giroud to operate up front / floating behind the central striker.
It's going to be an interesting team selection, with one or two big names starting on the bench.
