Arsenal are leading the chase to sign Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco, who has "given his approval" on a move to the Emirates.
The Gunners have shown an interest in the 25-year-old but are facing stiff opposition from two of Europe's most decorated clubs, with Manchester United and Milan both after the former Atletico Madrid man's signature.
Carrasco currently plies his trade in the Chinese Super League for Dalian Yifang, where he has notched seven times in 25 league appearances this term.
According to reports from Sky Italia, via Football Italia, the 25-year-old favours a move to the Premier League - having spent less than a year in the Chinese Super League.
Carrasco only joined Dalian Yifang in February for a reported £26m, but former Atletico man could be ready to return to the grand stage of Europe this winter. Milan have been chasing the player for the last couple of weeks, but doubts have surfaced over the Rossoneri's ability to finance a deal.
Carrasco scored 23 goals in 124 appearances for former side Atletico Madrid, registering 17 assists in all competitions for the club.
Unai Emery has already worked with the 25-year-old who joined Sevilla on loan whilst the Spaniard was their manager.
Arsenal travel to West Ham next Saturday in the lunchtime kickoff as they look to close the gap on the four teams above them.
