Last updated : 14 September 2006 By Clive Dickman

A great result & no big hair in sight!

Lehman - 8 - His timing was impeccable & distribution sound

Eboue – 7 - Mad as a badger but ace too, much better distribution tonight

Toure – 6 - subbed early on but as per normal solid (Hoyte (28) 7 Showed why Wenger has kept faith with him)

Djourou - 7 - Getting better with every game & what a way to show what he can do in a tricky away win

Gallas – 6 - Still struggling for Fitness but part of an impressive "old style" Arsenal performance

Hleb - 7 - Class performance looks the stereo typical Wenger type player (Replaced by Flamini (70) -6 Industrious display)

Fabregas - 9 - This boy is a genius! Can we make the 8 year contract extension 18 please!

Gilberto – 8 - worked his socks off, used the ball well & did his job in allowing Cesc to shine. Great penalty too!

Rosicky – 7 - What a goal! Looking as if he will be able to replace the irreplaceable Robert Pires

Van Persie - 6 - Over played on occasions & looks a creator rather than a goal machine, made the most of a late challenge in the box to earn a crucial penalty & reduce Hamburg to 10 men.

Adebayor – 6 - Held the ball up well when required but no end product

Subs Not Used: Almunia, Ljungberg, Song Billong, Walcott.
