Roy Halladays Widow Issues Statement on Hall of Fame Election

​One of the most dominant starters of the 2000s, former ​Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies hurler Roy Halladay was elected to the ​Baseball Hall of Fame on Tuesday night. ​Sadly, Halladay never lived to revel in this incredible honor, as he passed away in November of 2017 in a plane crash in the Gulf of Mexico.  His widow Brandy put out a statement thanking the BBWAA and the Hall of Fame for immortalizing her late husband.  Statement from Brandy Halladay, Roy Halladay’s widow:...
