Rami Shaaban: London-bound?

According to their reports, he will join Arsenal on 1st September if the clubs can set a fee (which seems to indicate that he hasn't signed yet, but anyway!)

His present contract with Djurgården finishes in November so it won´t be a problem.

Apparently, Shaaban was quoted as saying to TV4: "Arsenal is one of the 10 biggest clubs in Europe so its a big opportunity for me. I think I can develop and hopefully play a lot of matches".

Arsenal have auditioned an awful lot of keepers over the past week in an effort to find a replacement for Richard Wright since the collapse of the deal to bring Fabian Carini over on loan from Juventus.
