Vieira signs for Inter - A missed opportunity?

There are many Arsenal fans - myself included - who would have loved to see him back in London playing at the new stadium, but it was not to be.

Clearly Arsene Wenger wasn't interested in bringing the player 'back home' for one final tilt at the Premiership next season, despite the fact that we lack a truly cobative midfielder in the Vieira mould.

At least we can be thankful that he didn't end up going to Manchester United, who have admitted that they were interested in snapping him up.
