Arsenal to make their move for global superstar

Few players in world football can claim to be personalities that have helped define an era in the same way as a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The striker passed through many top European clubs on his way to PSG but has become unsettled according to reports and could move to the Premier League in the summer.

A recent report had suggested that the players respect for Jose Mourinho would ensure that Chelsea would be the preferred destination for the player with the impeccable striking record which is all the more remarkable considering he is 33.

Since joining PSG in 2012 the Swede has made 91 league appearances a scored 75 goals and this spell represents a hugely successful period and although it is difficult to compare a goal record from one league to another it could easily be argued that he shows no sign of slowing down.

According to reports in the Star the player has become unhappy with his situation in Paris and that PSG would be willing to sell the player on relatively cheaply

£11m will get you Zlatan with a number of other clubs thought to be interested in the player including AC Milan and Liverpool

Arsenal are understood to be in the market for a star striker and £11m could represent great business for a player with such flair and an eye for goal

Add into that mix his undoubted marketability and you are definitely on to a winner.

Will it actually happen? Arsenal do have Champions League football and he has worn the shirt before of course.
