Arsenal v Middlesbrough - Player Ratings

Last updated : 18 March 2008 By Luis Anaconda

Manuel Almunia - 6 - Pretty much a day off.

Bacary Sagna - 6 - Joined most of the others playing below par.

Kolo Toure - 7 - Lucky to get back in the side, but showed his normal passion and commitment which is nice.

William Gallas - 6 - The side needs a strong leader, which is what M. Gallas probably believes he is. I need some convincing.

Gael Clichy - 5 - Needs a rest like he didn't need a kick in the head.

Emmanuel Eboue - 7 One of his better performances.

Cesc Fabregas - 6 - Lively in the first half, but even at the top of his game he would have struggled against Boro's 13-man defence in the second.

Mathieu Flamini - 6 - Mind on Milan, perchance.

Alexander Hleb - 5 - One of his frustrating days. It's all very well that he can see passes that no one else can but that so often includes his team-mates.

Emmanuel Adebayor - 5 - Back to being a villain with many, which may be harsh but he needs to find form again quickly.

Robin van Persie - 6 - Off the pace but offered a threat in the first half

Substitutes:

Nicklas Bendtner - 5 - Didn't really make the impact he was supposed to.

Theo Walcott - 6 - Could have done with a run down the middle.

Philippe Senderos - n/a - Would have notched the winner from that corner.
