Keown has apparently apologised to his manager, who said:
"I fear a charge. If he is charged we will defend him. He said sorry to me this morn ing. He said it was a bad reaction. Martin has a fair attitude."
All of this begs the question: "Why wasn't the Dutchman hauled up in front of the F.A. for his assault on Freddie Ljungberg in May?" - and we all know the answer, don't we?
