Tel has already scooped the Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year award this year, so this one makes it a "double" - hopefully not his last "double" of the season either.
The chairman of the FWA Gerry Cox said:

Henry made all the early running when the poll opened, but was challenged by van Nistelrooy in a race which mirrored Arsenal and Manchester United's fight for the title."
And of course we all know that the award is with the rightful recipient don't we?
