When quizzed about the state of play with injuries to Campbell, Henry and Vieira he had this to say:
"We have many injuries from the European Championships and the worst is Sol Campbell, but Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry should be ready in two weeks."
He also said that there might be one further addition to the squad prior to the August 5th. transfer dealine. One suspects that negotiations are still taking place to bring Hatem Trabelsi to the club, but talks have apparently been problematic due to the players wage demands (not a good start).
