The St. Louis Cardinals had their way with the rival Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday night. Entering the top of the fifth inning with an 11-3 lead, the Pirates were threatening with players on second and third. Josh Bell looked to squeak a hit into the outfield, but Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong had other plans. DeJong made a diving stop and in turn, got Bell out at first with a throw from his knees. That play will certainly earn Paul DeJong some "Extra Effort" nominations on Friday...
