He took the time to praise everyone involved - players and staff alike:
"The overall achievement of the club has been tremendous. The championship is where you see how good a team is. All the players have had a remarkable attitude and all my staff have been fantastic.
"I would like to congratulate my players and staff for their attitude and the consistency they have shown. It must have been good for the fans to see us repeat what happened in 1971 when we also won the title at Tottenham.''
"We've been remarkably consistent, haven't lost a game and we have played stylish football. We have entertained people who love just football."
