Arsenal are progressing toward a final agreement to sign Greek international winger Christos Tzolis from Belgian Pro League outfit Club Brugge.
The 24-year-old wide forward has emerged as Mikel Arteta's primary target to inject explosive pace and technical quality into his frontline following the departure of Leandro Trossard to Turkish side Besiktas.
The overall transfer fee is expected to reach £34m. Tzolis produced a spectacular individual campaign in Belgium last term, netting 17 goals and 23 assists across all competitions to attract serious interest across Europe.
With personal terms already aligned in principle, Tzolis is scheduled to travel to London to complete his medical. Arteta is eager to integrate the attacker into the squad as quickly as possible before the upcoming pre-season friendlies.
