Mikel Arteta prepares tactical shuffle for Lille clash

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed that he will be forced to reshape his central midfield for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Lille at Emirates Stadium, following confirmed ankle injuries to Martin Zubimendi and defender Piero Hincapie.

Both players picked up knocks during Saturday 2-1 league victory over Leeds United and have been ruled out of continental action.

The absence of Zubimendi presents an opportunity for Jorginho or young academy graduate Myles Lewis-Skelly to step into the starting lineup.

Arteta confirmed during his pre-match press conference at London Colney that William Saliba has resumed individual ball work on the grass, though the French defender will not be risked against Lille.

Arteta demanded total concentration from his players, warning against complacency against their French visitors.

"We have lost two very important players for this match, but this squad was built to handle adversity," he said. "Whoever steps onto the pitch tomorrow knows the standard required to win at this level."
